Eden Brush

Eden grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where she was surrounded by mountains and was a short drive away from six ski resorts.  Her fascination for science started at a young age when she noticed that ice floats.  She moved to Eugene in 2015 where she is pursuing a B.S. in biology and minors in chemistry and Spanish at the University of Oregon.  Eden is interested in how genetic diversity among human-associated bacteria impacts host specificity. When she’s not at school or lab, Eden enjoys skiing, swimming, and spending time with cats.
