Joining the lab

Lab Manager: We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Lab Manager in our group. This position will involve a combination of lab organization, maintenance, and personnel training with the opportunity to lead independent research projects at the intersection of microbiology and molecular evolution. Interested candidates should email Matt at mfbarber@uoregon.edu with a current CV, a brief description of your research background, as well as contact information for three professional references. A bachelors degree and at least two years of research experience are required. Applicants with a background in microbiology, evolutionary genetics, or protein biochemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. Interviews with candidates will be held in fall of 2025 with an anticipated start date in 2026.
